CalcTeX
Polish version - Polski
Welcome on the main site of the CalcTeX package.
CalcTeX is prepared for calculation based on
(La)TeX
standards by means of
python
solver.
There are:
a very short
presentation
with
sources.
(Presentation consider all CalcTeX sources an you can use one for
preparing own presentation with calculation),
and additional examples.
This package is dedicated to calculations with and with-out units,
and suites perfectly for generating of any kind of documentations with calculations
like engineering project calculations, student's books, etc.
For use a CalcTeX is sufficient a very basic (La)TeX knowledge and is unnecessary of any kind of programmer's knowledge,
however any kind of python's knowledge could be supportive for wider use of CalcTeX possibilities for example
by means of creating of python's functions and procedures.
Installation
For installation you should copy a following example
http://sg.bzip.pl/CalcTeX/install-en/install-CalcTeX.tgz
or any other source example, to assure that on your computer is installed:
python,
TeX and/or LaTeX.
if so, you should extract this source
(tar -xvvf install-CalcTeX.tgz)
and will be created a new folder
(install-CalcTeX).
Go into this folder (cd install-CalcTeX) and run (go) script i.e.: (sh go) or (sh go mask)
then will be genereted a
main.pdf.
file included all calculation defined in all (*calc.tex) or (*mask*calc.tex) files.
In this folder is one example of CalcTeX input file you can modify one or add a new one
-- new one calculation file should included *calc.tex in his name.

Additional Examples
For better illustration of CalcTeX package possibilities and for quick understanding of work of this package you can
review following examples. The simplest one is
'kinetic energy' calculation.

Each of the following examples and
presentation's
(all *.tgz) files consider all CalcTeX sources and examples sources as well is independent part.
For calculation please just save *.tgz file, decompress one and run ''go'' script (''sh go'')
inside particular folder.
